SAN FRANCISCO – January 26, 2011. On January 26, 2011 in San Francisco, missionary Jasjit Singh was granted asylum by the U.S. government. Bro. Singh has been doing much work since his conversion last year at the annual No Limits Conference in Sacramento, California. Many prayers have went up for him in the past few months. His permission to stay in the U.S. is vital since he has so much influence on many pastors and ministers in India and Pakistan. Since his conversion, he has started two Bible College sites, translated four doctrinal books into Punjabi both in written format and in audio, won over two large non-apostolicchurches that have considerable influence on surrounding pastors, and established a knowledge center for pastors all over India and Pakistan. Currently, he is working with over 200 pastors. He wanted to thank the Rock Church for all of their support and also the Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship for supporting his lawyer. His lawyer, Michael Karr, from Sacramento, has won a number of immigration cases for Apostolics in Northern California.
